2/5/2015 Art GeekCan I just confess right here that I am proud to be an Art Geek? Or maybe more correctly a Geek of an Art Teacher? The days have been flying by while I do what I love in a big bright room full of student artists. Third and Fourth Graders are finishing their clay work and will begin glazing soon. Fifth Grade has created these awesome Keith Haring-inspired paper sculptures. So many people have been peeking their heads into the Art Room to see these lined up alongside our windows. Second Graders are creating gyotaku fish prints inspired by the Japanese art form. Kindergarteners and First Graders have finished monoprinting and are about to begin their non-clay sculptures. Busy times! And spring is on the way.
